Oz. Foods and Entrees, Inc., a certified food service manufacturer, are proud to supply you with a closely monitored meal program to meet your nutrition and fitness goals.  We have put together a menu of foods to assist you in your day to day nutritional programs.  Each food item is individually packed and flash frozen fresh after it is made, seasoned, or assembled.  This process helps insure your food will be preserved at its freshest and taste like you made it.  Unlike processed foods, there are no preservatives, flavor enhancers, colorings or added sugars.  Sodium never exceeds double digit milligram concentrations per 3 oz. servings.  Our menu has proven to give the best results to those seeking their fitness goals in the least amount of time, not forgetting the time saved in food preperation.

We are located in Seattle, Washington. Our production plant is located in the SoDo (south of downtown) district of Seattle.  We have no physical retail store since we are a catering company.  We deliver our foods to you.  However, you can pickup your food order at our plant.  Since it is a food manufacturing plant and has no retail element we ask that you coordinate your pick up time.

A little history about the man behind the foods: 

Henderson Mar          

In 1991 Henderson and Janis Mar founded Entrees Inc. and later in 1992 started manufacturing and selling fresh sushi.  In 1993 he re-branded the company as Banzai Sushi.  He immediately attracted interest of local grocery stores, food service providers, hospitality establishments, and restaurants with his high-quality product offering.

In 1995, Henderson was enjoying wonderful success as Seattle's premier sushi company but he also saw its limitation: shelf life.  Drawing upon his experience in cell biology and chemistry from Berkeley, University of Oregon and University of Washington, Henderson set out to come up with a product that was every bit as good as fresh with a long shelf life.  After two years and over 700 scientific trials, in 1997 Henderson came upon a formula and process to produce a frozen sushi product with a minimum six month shelf life that, when thawed, tasted every bit as good as the day it was made.

In 2003 Henderson developed, with the help of Fitness Consultants, Dieticians, competitive bodybuilders, fitness competitors and gym owners, a high-quality, all natural, fresh frozen diet food program that initially catered to anyone prepping for a contest.  Making the foods were a hobby and a passion as he operated Bonzai sushi. Since the end of 2006, Evolution Foods was created and started selling locally, the puget sound area, to additional gyms, studios and Personal Trainers.  In 2008 Oz. Foods was created as a marketing company to Henderson's food.

Scott Green                     

After over 18 years in the insurance industry Scott Green retired from the business in 2004.  Having a passion for lifting weights and intrigued with bodybuilding at the age of 48 he prepped for and competed at the 2007 Emerald Cup in the Masters division (7th place baby...).  It was the process of weighing foods and eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours he started using Henderson Mar's foods.  Shortly thereafter he started selling the foods as he was training for the Emerald Cup and formed Evolution Foods which later became Oz. Foods (Oz. as in ounces).  So thats the story.

We think what seperates us from all the other diet foods are a number or things.  The combination of lean proteins, low glycemic carbohydrates and high fibered vegetables are all important but look at our sodium content relative to all the other foods and you will find we are sometimes 10 times lower than everyone else.  Plus Henderson's ability to flash freeze the foods so when you go to heat them up they will taste fresh... uterly remarkable.  We look forward to offering you the truly magic food combination that will assist you in your diet.
